Pants!

An exploration of kinetic typography and paper stop-motion animation. I animated the figures by hand, using hand-drawn articulated paper figures inspired by 1840s illustrative styles.

The text is from an article of the Daily Alta California newspaper published in 1849, chosen here for its absurdity when read through a modern lens.
