Inspiration & direction
After finishing the TICCIT Toolkit Redesign, I wanted to explore a geometric illustration style further. The goal is to try a slightly different direction to find out how flexible it could be, and to challenge myself to translate organic forms into geometric shapes . I decided to design a set of fruits, with the intent of then developing a set of lighthearted infographics.
A possible extension would be to do a similar exploration of vegetables, flowers, or other organic forms.

These are the initial developments in my set of infographics. First up, I created two different versions of the same basic information set, in order to try different methods of displaying the information. Those differing methods also affect the nuance afforded to the information, and where emphasis falls.
For the second version (below), I also created an adaptation for sharing on Instagram (bottom) in order to explore that version’s flexibility.
